Hat Attack

I'm just back from the 135th running of the Kentucky Derby and what an amazing experience! This was my first visit to Churchill Downs and I was fortunate enough to attend both the Kentucky Oaks on Friday and the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.

Here are a few of the beautiful (and creative) hats worn at the Derby. I think my favorite is the couple.....

The 135th Kentucky Derby is just 4 days away and tomorrow morning I'm boarding a plane bound for Louisville.  This will be the first time I've attended the Derby and I can't wait to check out the amazing hats, horses, and of course, mint juleps!  

I'll make sure to take plenty of pictures and post them upon my return!!
